My heart is happy and calm today. For the moment, I'm curled up in bed with my big dog at my feet. I'm deciding just how to map out today. It's the last day of vacation, and I have three hours left of me time. So far I've let the dog out and stoked the fire...and made coffee. I think I'll start a pot of dye. I've gotten some gorgeous colors over the last few days. Laura turned me on to Cushings Dyes. They are fantastic! I also need to pull a handle for a pot that's been waiting for me...which means clothes and boots and jacket...it's COOOOOOOLD out there. Start a load of laundry... maybe I'll make something warm and rich in the slow cooker for tonights dinner.

All this to say that I'm looking forward to stepping into today and this year.
Happy New Year!

"Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do not know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country."
